DescriptionThis was my very first attempt at true model building. This kit, produced by Revell, is a 1:570 scale model of the RMS Titanic. It comes unassembled with nearly 100 pieces that have to be meticulously hand painted and glued. This video only shows a fraction of the work involved, since a lot of the actual parts are now hidden below decks. It was a truly challenging job, and at times I had to use the tip of a toothpick to apply some of the paint on the various stacks, vents, propellers, etc. I am posting this as my tribute to those who lost their lives on that fateful night of April 15, 1912.
